Anyone go this weekend? I actually worked on my jeep, had a bad o-ring between the ps pump and the reservoir. Thanks to Rick for the pump.

IT WAS A TRIP TO LEARN AND REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think everyone had a great time on the trail in the SNOW!!!.
Shoe creek and the Ken and Nathen loop sure does change in terms of difficulty with 2-3 inch of snow on the ground.
Hopefully we can get some pictures posted and a trip story. Ben

Well, the little smiley face on Tim's rear diff cover looked like this before the top of the trail: It looked like this after: It was absolutely GREAT. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I just sent you 16,000 words on the topic on the main web site. From the main page, follow the link "Club Trail Runs". If anyone wants a hi-res file copy of any of the photos there, let me know.... and if anyone else has photos of the event to share, please send them my way. Still pics could not capture all that went on. I'd have LOVED to have had a video camera on this ride!

Being the new guy on the trail meant that I had no idea what to expect. I can say I was not disappointed. I had a blast. The members of TFW made me feel welcome and I look forward to spending more time with them on the trails. Hopefully next time I will have my trail buggy ready.

Hey Lyle great pic's really wish i could have made it now. However it looks like i would have been hooked to alot of different winch lines. I especially liked the orange cj parked sideways in the trail. It looks like that one was a fun ride. ;D or was it a scary ride . See you guys at the meeting. It may be my last one for a little while again. Tony

IT WAS A TRIP TO LEARN AND REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You learned to "become one with the coil springs", yes? ;D How's the YJ? Hopefully we can get some pictures posted and a trip story. Ben Pics are posted on the main web site. As to a story, I truly would not know where to begin. If you or anyone else would like to take a run at it, send it my way and I'll post it on the trip page.

I had a great time, particularly since I hadn't been wheelin since WAY before my back surgery in October. The words I've been using to describe are: Slip and Slide Winch Party ;D
Was great to see some old friends, and meet new ones too. Thank you Pat and Ben for making the trip happen.
See ya'll on the trails. Melis

I am sorry that I missed it, but I have a feeling that my trip out to Idaho and 4 more months of snow will more than make up for it.

Additional pictures are posted on the website, compliments of Vajeepdad (photographer) and MTNLVMMelis (uploaded them to share). Thanks guys! Note: if viewing the page via a dialup connection, please be patient for the page to load. There are 30 images there, so it may take a couple of minutes depending on connection speed... but it's worth the wait!.

Thanks all for coming out and enjoying a lovely day on the trail. I had a blast even with out my own jeep. As for mine, kind of MIA right now, its been at the dealer for repair since last WED and at first was a fuel pressure regulator, EGR valve and selenoid, O2 sensor, fouled plugs, and fuel in the crank case. This Monday it was a crushed fuel filter, tank, skid plate, and anything else that is in the tank. SO now its a waiting game while parts are on order. Hopefully the YJ will fire up and run like a champ come this weekend and a heafty bill. then will be time to order a KILBY before the next trail ride

Hey those are some good photos. Just one question. Look at the photo of Lyles tj coming up the hill. For some reason his right front tire is missing. You can see a rock where it should be but, no tire.

For some reason his right front tire is missing. You can see a rock where it should be but, no tire. So THAT's why it felt so funny driving home!! Actually, if you look real close you can see it.. it's just stuffed real good trying to climb up on that rock. If you look at how far the driver's side is drooped, that's how far the pass side is stuffed. ;D Alternate answers: "Dang! I wondered where I left that thing!" "Dang! Chris told me 90 ft/lbs torque on the wheel studs would be enough!" and, for any conspiracy theorists: "We didn't really go. The pics were all done in Photoshop. Dang, one little mistake!"
