I just got back. Post up your pics and stories here. I didn't take too many myself. I should have, since it was the XJ's first time offroading.
The weather on the most part was great. Kind of cool Thursday and Friday nights and a light sprinkle Friday afternoon.
Thanks to Jesse, Sandy, and everyone else that helped out for putting on another great event this year

Yup..Thursday night was COLD...Fri/Sat night had a tent heater..lol...even though it was warmer.
I'm ashamed to say I took ONE picture the whole weekend and it wasn't even of MY kid. I wasn't feeling too well.
It WAS lots of fun though!

I think it was a great trip even if my group only managed to get 7 trails in with all the trail repairs , choke, water leak at radiator hose , tie rods [2], rear diff leak. front diff leak, about 8 winch situations , 1 this morning to straighten a tie rod, lost ignition system on one that was towed home to camp, [ Trailer Queen] , lots of pin striping, some strapping, fuel pick up problem, and various problems yet to be found. The group was a lot of fun to be with , thank you all. Tom

This event gets better every year. Thank you to Sandy, Jesse, Russ, Denise, and Jacqulin(SP?) for helping with the raffle. Big props to the kitchen gang! A big thanks to all who helped make this the "Not to miss event". We had a good list of whoops...one Toyota diff., one Birfield, one Pinz tire, two fires, one motor mount, and Burnley's flop on Two.

Nice. Now, where's the pics??? I really hated the fact that I had the duty on Friday. I really would have liked to have made the annual this year. I will say this, come hell or high water, I am so there next year (and hopefully my junk will be ready by then!) ;D Now all I gotta do is talk the wife into going with

I had a good time, even though I think I set a record for earliest broke - I only made it half way from the camp site to the staging area FRI before I melted the B&M shifter cable so badly I had have my buddy shift by reaching under and shifting by hand. Spent all day FRI in town jerry rigging a PTO cable to work. Hit the trails SAT w/ Mike (Sinwagon), Ryan&Daniel, and ~25 vehicles. The buggy worked well and I had a great time. Thanks everyone.

It will, and can be stated better than this by someone else but, THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL WEEKEND. I can speak personally for three of the four Jeeps that attended from the Low Country Jeep Club here in South Carolina.
We all enjoyed ourselves at your expense and we're greatful to you for the hard work and effort each and everyone put out to make this event happen for us.
I want to personally thank you all and especially Tom and Walter for the expert trail experiances we all shared riding the trails with you. We all look forward to seeing you again next year and sharing trails with you in the near future.
Well done.

Nope, I had the earliest breakage. Thursday afternoon enroute in Hampton. It was fun wheeling a bone stock XJ. And it got me thinking of building it up some.

Eh, if I had gone without some different meat on the rig, I'da probably broke all kinds of stuff. Maybe. I'm not too hard on the throttle. Looks like some good 'wheelin' was had, though. I really am wanting to go next year fo' sho! ;D

Dear Tidewater Fourwheelers,
I had a great time. My family had a great time. The drive up was great. The weather was great. The people were great. The trails were great. The food was great. The door prizes were great even though I didn't win any of them. It was great seeing all our friends. I was grateful I didn't break anything. The drive home was great. We had such a great time, we will come back next year.
Eternally grateful, Chris, Carla, Noah, and Seth ;D ;D ;D ;D

A "BIG THANK YOU" to everyone who volunteered their time to make this event happen. We had a great time (even Angela who got a little dirt in her ear).
Also, thanks to those who got us back on all 4 wheels on Sun. A very safe and professional job.
Jim
