First off, many thanks to the folks who showed up early and stayed late to help with trail preparations. We should have been done by now but the weather has been relentless. The prerun went well, not as many folks showed up as we were expecting. We forgot to mention a few things at our marathon trail guide meeting, but that was a lot of information to cover. It'll take a couple days to go through all our paperwork - keep an eye on the United forum for updates. Getting to 'wheel a Jeep Patriot was cool. Fairly capable 4X4 that surprisingly covered a lot of Oak Ridge. For less than $20K, not a bad product. The hill descent and traction control systems were pretty neat. The downside, no place to mount a winch (to cover the rest of Oak Ridge).

One thing I forgot to do was thank Craig, Tony, Jim (Tony's Pop), Pat AND ESPECIALLY MY FAVORITE NEPHEW WADE for escorting Carla, the boys and myself (and the Patriot) around Oak Ridge Saturday afternoon. It was a nice relaxing and fun afternoon for all 4 of us right in the middle of all this Camp Jeep stuff going on. It was much appreciated.

Chris i think it was as much fun for you guys as it was for us watching that thing go through the trails like it did. I would have never beliebed it if i hadn't seen it. any time ya need a break like that just ask we would gladly do it again.

Other than the Fossa attacking my fuel line, it was a great time.
