Well, i think everyone had a good time. Not to hot at times a little chilly due to the wind. My kind of beach day . it was nice up on ramp 30. Not as much wind and alot more sun.
Oh yeah Mike the check engine light was for something electrical. By the time i got off on pughsville i had to turn on my high beams because it was all the way down to 0 amps. I got duty tomorrow so i can't get out and figure out what is wrong with it. I am guessing the alternator but not to sure until i get the meter out.

Yeah, it was 'cold' (relatively speaking considering the past few days) here in Hampton Roads yesterday. Hope everyone had a great time and a safe trip to and from. Tony, sounds like the alternator died but I don't know which would be cheaper / more fun: replacing the entire unit or rebuilding it yourself! The only other thing I can think of is if the battery severely dead celled and wasn't giving enough reference voltage / current. Hope you get 'er fixed soon.

Ya it was cool. Surf was off shore so it sucked. Sun came out as I got off the sand. Otherwise any day in 4 wheel drive with your friends is a [glow=red,2,300]good day[/glow]. The hallefect speed sensor or the programmer chip was whacked I was doing 100 mph leaving the beach so the computer started sending 100 mph gas to the plugs. Got off the beach and checked connections. got home OK.

Yup, definitely a good time! I made it clear up to Great Bridge after dropping off the cooker before I bothered to top the truck off. Gotta love dual tanks (had filled in Smithfield before I left). But then there's the catch, $78 worth of premium. hahahaha
Definitely gotta get my wheeling toy done. Wheeling on the beach with the tow rig was pretty entertaining. ;D

I'd also like to make a vote to get the cooker bigger tires actually ment for a little wheeling action. Riding with it through the sand it acted as an anchor! Even after airing down the little tires it was more dragging than wheeling!
The event was awesome! Especially riding in a 250!
