Turned out to be a very nice day. Thanks Harold for the use of the hwy. It looked like everyone had a good time. There wasn't to much damage. Billy tore up a couple things on the big bronco. a valve stem was ripped off and a few of the new folks learned that tj side steps should be removed. Glad to see so many folks out.
Oh yeah big thanks to the board for making it an official run so it now counts for the new guys.

It was good to see so many familiar (and unfamiliar) faces out there today. I had a great time, although coming back through the bypass around the big stump proved to be a winch-for-all (or at least quite a few of us, myself included). The only other rough spot I had for the most part was getting over the logs in the log run, but again, fun stuff. The only scars of damage I took were losing a piece of trim on the rear bumper trying to negotiate the bypass and a new ding in the passenger rear quarter next to the bumper. Thanks again for having us Harold, and a very big thanks to all the spotters, winch crews, spectators, and everyone who came out for the fun.

Thanks Harold for having us. Lisa and I had a blast. It was great to see everybody again. Too bad my run was cut short by a cut valve stem. Jack

Jack you cut one also. That needs to be added to everyone trail kit. 2 valve stems in 1 run is not usual.
Jack and all other club members please check out the members only area in club members section.

Thanks Harold for having us come. I jump at every chance to get dirty. I think my daughter enjoyed it more than me. The only damage i got was a burnt out cigarette lighter when i aired back up. Also i have a video of the Red wrangler with the black hood tackling the pit if anyone wants to see it. I'll post it as soon as i figure how to download it.

I am glad everyone had a great time. A little bit of rain can make a big difference out here. In talking with Dave, I am going to check my schedule and see if I can plan a work weekend and we can add and or make some changes to the trail. I am open to suggestions. The only limitations are that I want to have a cut a minimal number of trees.

I throughly enjoyed myself and look forward to being more involved. Highway driving would be a lot more enjoyable if VDOT took a few lessons from Harold. I have three video clips I can post. Since I'm new I'm not sure where to post. Alternately I can send directly If you tell where to send it to but file size may be an issue, the smallest is 27MB. I have the red Jeep w/ gray soft top at the first pit (ended up getting pulled out). The red Jeep w/ the black hood in the 2nd pit and the third I think is Jack's Jeep in the 2nd pit. Thanks to everyone who helped out and especially to Harold for letting us use his property. Looking forward to future events. Dan
