what axles besides the 9" came in ford broncos? I think the one I looked at today was an 8.8, but am not sure. Not sure of the year either, but the front has IFS.

I think I found what I needed to know. Another question though, are all ford d44 front axles reverse rotation?

Hey Eric, the 44 in the ford is reverse. You could use a 9' and a 44 front from a 78-79 Bronco and cut and weld brackets. Then I'm thinking 39.5 Boggers?

Then I'm thinking 39.5 Boggers? that is the setup that we put under tom d geek jeep. from f150 , also had 5.13 gears in it as well that was built for mud bogging. He bought them off ebay for a song....you will need lots of mods to the steering and driveshaft sizes. tim

This will be a mod that happens after I get back from my adventures out west. Or it may never happen after I get that scout 44 under the rear ;D

There was a reverse rotation 44 front over at U Wrench it a couple weeks ago. I grabbed a full floating 60 from a van for 135 from drum to drum (man is that thing HEAVY!). Not sure if it is there or not anymore, but I live about 1/2 mile from there, so let me know and I'll stop by there and take a look for ya. What setup you wanting to run? I have scout axles under my CJ7 right now and looking for one ton gear. Jack
