Hey guys, I just scored another axle for $100. It has the manual hubs and everything, but it is a passenger dropped pumpkin. Will the shafts from the pass. drop one swap out to the long and short side of my driver's drop that I will instal in the XJ?

I found another axle that has the drivers side diff at this same junkyard. So for another $100 I can get it too. Anybody want this other Waggy D44 with passenger drop and manual lockouts?

No earthly clue! I thought there were only four types up front. D44 with the drivers side drop with either manual hubs or automatic hubs. Then the other two axles were passenger drop with either the manual lockouts or automatic hubs. I have seen them with so many different variations it isn't funny! I hear all the time that they only came with such and such on a certain model. So I though if you knew what axle it had, you could tell what t-case and/or which year is was? I know it has a centered AMC 20 in its rear, maybe early 80s....otherwise, no clue.
