What is a cheap way to get an extended front drive shaft for a yj. I need one with about an extra 1.5 inches. Is there a way to mix and match with an XJ? The M.O.R.E SRS with the Buggy springs is half way done. Should be finished by about 4:00 tomorrow. This kit so far is really heavy duty and is a dirrect bolt on. Can't wait to try it out. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Tony, Let me know how long your current shaft is Measure the tube length from weld to weld. No need for slip yoke or rear yoke. Don't we all need an extra 1.5 inches at one time or another???

Be careful that whatever driveshaft youy use cant bottom out. If that happens, it will break the front output side of the transfer case off. Allow for a margin of error on this point.

I am going to wait until i get back to Va. I should be heading back down that way on Friday. It does drive alot better. Feels way more stable and even goes in a straight line now. Corners really well. I do know i am going to need longer shocks and new front brake lines before i figure out the length of the new drive shaft. I can't get the buggy spring to even come close to flexing yet do to the shortness of the shocks and brake lines. So i wont be there on Sun for the trail ride. I guess i'll have to wait for the Feb clean-up run in Oak Ridge. See you all soon. Tony
