Hi, I need to get the ring & pinion set on my Jeep. I have the carrier, new install kit, new seals, bearings, U joints, etc. The guy that did the rear axle cannot do the front for me. Where is a good place to get this done around Chesapeake, the axle is off the Jeep...

Standard Parts Corporation in Chesapeake does gears. I'm not sure what their cost is for gears.

Well, I called & they normally do this type of work but they currently don't have a mechanic that can do this... this is the story of my whole rebuild.... My axle has been off for far too long, can anyone suggest a good shop that can change out the wheel bearings, U joints, steering knuckles so I can at least drive around in 2wd (it's been in my garage for waaay too long, I'll get the front R&P set later.. or if someone can do this at my place I'll pay you..

Check w/ Pro Trucks, they should have a mechanic to do all that plus your R&P.

oooh boy, $350 just for R&P
I only spent $200 to get the rear done & that included installing the locker too, but he can't do the front for me...
