Well, my bumper is coming along nicely. The best part
is, my freind is doing it for free. My CJ is at his
house and he is unemployeed (laid off from the video
game making industry-helped work on Sims Online) and
bored out of his gord. I told to take a whack at
welding and buy did he ever! Here is the unfinished
bumper that I started on but never finished:

Well after a day of figuring out/learning how to use a
torch, he finally got a main piece cut out:

Here are the new frame mounts being test fitted:

Have the top and sides welded on in this pic-starting

After getting everything test fitted, here is a pic of
it the brackets being spot welded into place:

;D Tada! One finished bumper. Just needs some more
grinding, a little paint and then reinstall the lights
and I'll be ready to mow people over!:

You can also see my pretty 401 that probably has a bad
bearing in this pic:

I'll probably add some more bolts to tie it into the
frame, but overall I am really impressed. I also
gotta try and straighten that frame out and reinforce
it. That tilt bugs the poop out of me!
