Hey gang, well the YJ sits in the drive way till I figure out what approach to take. Looks like the slave cylinder on the clutch went out wed prior to camp jeep. SO what to do. I don't really feel like tackle this project, but know its gonna call ALL of my CJ money and then some to fix. Whats the story on the clutch when doused in brake fluid? Will I need a hole new clutch?, I had or Have a certerforce right now. BEN WHAT TO DO?

When i had to replace mine the slave cylinder blew out but, didn't get the discs wet. However there wasn't but a smigin of a disk left anyhow so i went ahead and replaced the entire thing. It only took a few hours to do it. Another thing i did was get a couple of extra bolts that hold the tranny on. Make sure they are about 2 inches longer than stock. Cut the heads off and shape them into a point. When you are reassembling it screw those bolts into the 2 top holes. Slide the ttranny right over them and put some of the other bolts on and then unscrew them. It helps line everything back up. Hope you have fun doing it. Tony

It's a sign. The last 2 Jeep events at Oak Ridge have claim 2 Wrangler clutch slave cylinders. I think that thing to do is take your brother's XJ and build it up. Give him your YJ so he can learn to work on a Jeep. ;D
