Why wouldn't this work??? Why couldn't you go to the store, buy a quart of Rustoleum enamel paint, put it in your paint spray gun, and paint your vehicle? It would save you the hassle of buying expensive automotive paint and mixing it, etc.

well iv found that 3 coats of rustoleum doesn't hold up very well to simple green. OR could have been that I didn't clean the parts very well. I think Im just gona rattle can the trailer eventually.

Don't they say the most important thing is the prep work? I think if it was prepped properly it would work.

We're hopefully gonna paint the CJ3A. prep work huh? My idea of prepr work is to wire brush/sand the bad spots and paint it. The body has a lot of patch panels, bondo, etc. So we just want it one color.

I'm thinkin paint party at chris's house. Everyone bring a can and it will be painted in no time. Heck i think we could have enought to get one of the military trailers painted to match it. That would be real cool. Tony

Save your pennies for free beer and pizza for the workers and they will come.
