while Chris and Noah are seeing who can run mom out of the room first, my dad and I found out the other night that Officer Friendly doesn't like it when your tow straping your broken down volvo down Hampton Blvd. evidently your supposed to use a "tow bar" whatever that is, and something about the towing vehicle is supposed to be "in control." anyway we pulled the vehicle off on 45th st. and after Johnny Law dissapeared we kept on going, we got to within about 1/2 a mile of the house when we saw 2 cops going in the opposite direction, my dad made some evasive manuvers and we pulled down a side street and parked the volvo and drove around the block just in case they came after us. as we were circleing around we saw them heading back in the direction that we were going so we hooked back up and got it home without a ticket.

Wow, I hope the stereo in the Volvo was working so you could at least play the "Mission Impossible" theme! Next thing you know, Jason, his Dad, and his brother will be entering the "Chain Race" at Langley!

This sounds familar. I was on my way back from a CJ work weekend (or may be it was Big Dogs) a few years ago when my jeep just cut off and would not run. I called up Jim Burnley since he was the closest. After we had checked the fuel filter and other things a State Policeman had shown up. Jim talked him into letting us use a tow strap to pull me to his house. I would slow Jim down with my brakes.
I found out that day how hard it was to turn the wheel with swampers and no power steering.
