I was killing some time today at barnes and noble. OK I was doing research in a JP magazine. The calender for the month of November 2003 has a pic that looks like CJ5 hill. There is a very large crowd on the sandy side that is very wet and muddy, did it rain this past year at Jeep Jam than again could have been from Camp Jeep 2001. I might pick up the mag and bring to meeting on wednesday.
just a curious mind...

Hey Tim,
I was at Barnes and Noble today and looked at the JP magazine. I have that issue at home but if you get the subscription you don't get the calendar. That picture is of CJ5 hill. I couldn't figure out when it was though. The people on the far shore, some had umbrellas so I am thinking that it was at the last Camp Jeep here, since that would have been the last time, the media would have been here. By the looks of the other pics chosen for the calendar, they appear to be magazine staff pictures. I wasn't at the 2001 annual run and it couldn't have been at the last annual run and it wasn't raining at the Jeep Jamboree.

"And I can drive you out on the trails so you can get some good photographs"

Well I'm surprised that they didn't have you down at the Kroger at Barracks Road giving away free newspapers this afternoon. They had someone there giving away both the Daily Progress and the Richmond Times Dispatch.

Actually it would be nice to see some local coverage unless I've missed it in the past. That might be the case since I can't read anyway. I just like the pictures, kind of like when I found an article on the web from Popular Mechanics and Melissa's Jeep was in the picture. Yours might have been in there too, I'll have to check.

Thats cool that your article is on the web, BUT not phots? come on Yea thats Chris H jeep form 2000. As fore melissa jeep, that shot is taken in the parking lot section I do believe with the trashcans marking tape and fence posts. If its from 2001, she had here lift on and no fog lamps. ALSO notice there is a sticker I do believe on the driverside windshield. Pluss I recall her have 2-3 camp jeep flags on her antenna out back.

I took everyone of them and a lot more. They do edit the story a little for content ie Currie's Fire Ant is NOT a YJ. They changed that. When I saw that I went back and looked at the original writing to check. I wrote the original article and Diane made it better, then they edit it even more. Well Melissa said it was her TJ.
