Hey guys, I got a set of 6 lugged Dana 44s that Paul can fit for my XJ (if he forgives me for the nightmare I put him through with the Dodge!) And I am looking for the best lift I can get, preferrably around 6+ inches. I am looking to clear 35s, with some fender trimming, and run 4.88s. I know stuff inside and out for Dodge, but nothing about the XJ. I have heard good stuff about Rubicon Ex. and Rusty's. I like Skyjacker, but the price could kill an elephant! What would you guys recommend. I usually get varied answers. Also, how hard would it be to make my own? The only thing I can think of is get Norfolk Spring to make the coils to my specs. Then build some control arms and get some leaves. What else would I need? Maybe some drop brackets from Skyjacker for sway bar and trac bar? Anything else? I know this is a lot, but humor me!

If you only remember one thing, let it be STAY AWAY FROM RUSTY'S !!! He is the worlds worst for honoring a "lifetime warranty" in any kind of timely manor. His products also seem not to be holding up very well. Just ask Paul about Rusty products. Rubicon Express products have been around for a while and seem to hold up very well. I wouldn't recommend getting custom springs made from a local shop, unless you can get them dirt cheap.
