The Cleary's go for the record of "Most Section 23-48 Notices" in a year... Section 23-48 of the City Code states that it is unlawful for any person to place or leave on any property in the City any dilapidated furniture, appliance, machinery, equipment, building material or other item; which is either in wholly or partially rusted, wrecked, junked, dismantled or inoperative condition and which is not completely enclosed within a building. This ordinance does not apply to any licensed junk dealers or establishments engaged in the repair, rebuilding, reconditioning or salvaging of equipment. Most junk violations are reported by citizens. If the inspector determines that a property is not in compliance with the code, a notice of violation is sent to the owner allowing 7 days to correct the violations. If violations are not corrected within the time allowed, the City may have the junk removed by a contractor, especially if the property is vacant. The case usually will be handled through court action if the property is occupied. If the removal work is contracted, the owner will be billed for the cost of the work. Failure to pay the bill will result in a lien placed against the property.

So how many have you recieved, or are you the one calling the city on us. ;D Jenn The latest one we got said that it had to be blocked from view by a building or a fence. It is behind a fence.

...or are you the one calling the city on us. Now THERE'S an idea, call the city on you guys so you have to sell it and I get it for 10 cents on the dollar! Why didn't I think of that sooner? I got a feeling if I did that, carla would call the city on US!

Even behind a fence, if people can see it over the fence, they can find ways to still get you. My truck just looks funny hiding behind a fence anyway...so I brought it back in the open if the neighbors were gonna be pissy about it. So, whats the record that thing has for lives saved? How many people died in it?

So Chris, you never answered the question, how many notices have you gotten?
Josh, I guess we will have to build a bigger fence or take the tires off.
