Regarding the current weather... it's interesting to me how much the local news stations play on any impending severe weather situation. Then, for a long time, I've found it interesting that folks in the Southwest manage to communicate ideas with relatively few words. Reading tonight's news stories about the snow moving across the country, I came across this simple statement that illustrates my point:
''Everybody needs to stay home,'' said Oklahoma Highway Patrol

just proof that we wheelers are more highly evolved that everyone else. around here when it snows most people prepare for the apocalypse and we just go out and play as usuall (i'm evolved but i still can't spell)

Yes (no offense but...) Virginians are pretty stupid when it comes to snow! I used to live in Nebraska before moving here! It took quite a bit of snow before schools would close. Here...? After a small snow flurry you start seeing school closings scroll across the bottom of the TV screen....
