make sure it is strong enough to hold my fullsize You're right behind Eddie (beserk) to test it out. Of course, he's behind my EB! ;D Jay I'll have some (more) pics up in a day or so... 23 degrees, I got the top all welded up today, minus the expanded metal covering. Talk about a pain in the arse to move around!

Nah. I was thinking about painting the flares for ya though! TJ's are an easy tape job for doing that. The Rustoleum wrinkle finish works great on those.

I COULD do it for most! (Michele's is good!) All Jeep plastic fades really bad. The Rustoleum works well and holds up to abuse. look at the door trim on my XJ. You can see where a rock hit it but just that area where the point of the rock hit came off, rather than alot of paint popping...I would probably do TJ flares for like $75. There is some prep work involved and the paint of course. Xj trim would be about the same. Less plastic but the taping sux on them.

Ok, back to the ramp- Thanks for helping today Billy! See ya early tomorrow morn. Chele? Getting started, have to fix a P@#$o Offroad f-up on Billy's F250 first. Stripped a lug nut and didn't tell him, inspection due. I wonder if they even know what a torque wrench is? Half the threads were stripped and it took a pipe extension to get the lug off. Hitch point welded up, tacking on uprights- Hi-lift jacks rule- After a Home Depot run early, we'll be back at it tomorrow a.m. if anyone is interested in checking it out.

Ok, I think my neighbors are starting to get nervous now! 3 Jeeps, a big Ramcharger, Billy's F250, my heep and EB, and Craig (what was that you drove?) all out front with everyone checking out a big ramp-looking thing in the garage. A neighbor even came by to find out what it is we're building and then came back with something to get welded! Hey as long as they don't complain- Fine-tuning cuts- Tacking- More tacking- Tapping in a shim- Ok, so we took a break- Now it's coming together- Should be useable this week but I need more steel for side braces, preferably 2"x3" or 2"x4". Got a small "window of opportunity" today. Fabbed up axle adapters- Jay, you haven't got any 4x8 sheets of expnded metal that can be sectioned into 20" wide lengths?
