Got some more done- Passenger side wheelwell housing is almost completely welded in- Housing prepped. The housings needed to have one part of the inner flange cut off about 3/4" higher than what it came with. It's got a nice curve which fit the plasma torch great to guide it around. Zip disc would work great too or air shears. Drilled 1/8" holes for spot welds- Clamped in, clamped next to each spot weld also, to ensure pieces were tight to each other- Miller 180 Auto-set worked great. Extensions are a good bit thinner than factory sheetmetal but no burn-throughs yet (knock on wood)- Mostly welded in-

Looking great, Dave! I'm sure you're happy with how things have finally come around on that thing. I just wish I could be there to see it up close and personal on it's maiden voyage Dave G

Engine compartment is degreased/pressure washed. Gregory's resurfaced my flywheel and hooked me up with a performance ceramic clutch on the cheap. Just need to grind off old ghetto-fab mounts and weld on new ones, paint engine compartment....

New motor mounts are welded into frame. Engine compartment is painted. Pulled new engine out of stand and installed engine mounts, pilot bearing, bolted on flywheel, harmonic balancer and clutch pack. Probably stick it in the bronco sometime today... I really can't wait to re-wire the bronco and get all the crusty wiring out of it!
