i'm curious though, how are you gonna replace the windshield, if you need to?

This is a trail rig only now. The main purpose of the windshield bars is to help prevent the top from crushing down, or a rock protruding in the cab in the event of a roll over. Its not a look that everyone likes, but I do ;D
