Paul, Gotcha. There's also another place over in Oregon that makes the FSB rear frame mounts / shackle reversal kits. They're like $135 a pair or each, I can't remember. www.sky-manufacturing.com/ford1.htm <-- scroll down, you'll find the 78-97 part #, etc. I was actually thinking of fabbing up something similar on my own to cut the $$$ in the budget.... ...Took in 13 quarts of AFT so far, still not full... The C6 is a thirsty sucker. Sounds about right. Could be worse, my E4OD (which is a C6 derivative) pushes somewhere around 15-16, if I remember right. Luckily it's been a while since I've had to drain and completely refill, which I attribute to the lack of a cab rather than some magical increase in the reliability of the tranny. ;D

Dave G,
If I go any farther with building up the Bronco I'll probably flip the shackles.
Chuck,
The tranny took 16 quarts because of the bigger aux cooler, lines and in line filter.

PaulC,
Right on. You could probably fab up those mounts instead of forking over the $$$ as well. There's also other places that sell different style flip/drop mounts for both mounting points for Rangers/BIIs/F-series/Broncos. I just don't remember all of them.
Yeah, the C6 does already have a fairly large capacity in comparison to others... and with the extra piping and cooling, I'm sure that added at least 4-6 quarts onto that.... oh, and we want more pics! Just thought I'd say it before everyone else ;D
