Well I had my xj for about 6 months now. I have done a few modification. This is the run down.
OK when I got it was already lifted to what I thought was 3 1/2in, but after seeing other xj with 3 1/2 I now believe its 4 1/2. I do now its. Pro Com. It had 31in cooper T/A that where dead. And it was stiff with no flax. Here some pix
Then I started the add-ons. First was a set of sway bar Q-Disconect and S.S. brake line that I got out a junk yard for 20 bucks. With some adjustments I got lil more movement out the suspension. I then realized that had stock length shocks that need to replacing. So I took stock S10 shock and mode to fit and now I have lift shock. My next upgrade was tires. I went with kumho M/T. I got them from summit for 99 buck each. I am happy with tire. A good buy for the buck.
After that I took it on it first trip. Oak ridge JJ pre run. Heres a few pics.
That was fun not a allot of play but it was a good brake in for me and the xj. Next I installed a adjustable track bar that I pic up form "Red and blue".
Then worst happens on the way home with the scout oneday. The motor in the xj lets a rod bearing go at 110,000mi so my luck still got the best of me. So Kenny had to come and tow me and the scout home. After a month of saving I got my new motor in and running. So I back on the road. I will have some pic of the motor in stall.
So now I'm at my newest modification the fender flares. I doing TJ flares but instead of using the fronts. I using 4 rears. I have only gotin one on, the rain not helping me. But here are some pix.
