After some serious thought I've changed my mind on project Bessie. I've had the Yota for 4 years now and decided not to ruin a good thing by getting rid of it. I want to drop the body lift to a 1inch lift and put a 4 inch Marlin crawler suspension lift and add the power steering with highsteer. The front reciever is going to be removed and the winch is going to be hard mounted on the frame. I think if I sell the grand waggy and "bessie" I should have enough to do that and do a basic engine overhaul to try and keep from torching the oil. I'll also be installing a lockright in the front axle too.

Paul, glad to see you're going to stay with the Yota. I believe I have some parts you might be interested in,,,, i.e., All-Pro Steering Arms possibly, maybe a tie rod, and some FJ-80 rod ends. ??

The lift kit I'm looking at comes with new pitman arm, draglink, tierod, billet hysteer arms, and fj80 rod ends. The complete kit with what is included is listed here: www.marlincrawler.com/htm/suspension/lift_kit.htmI'll probably go with the 5" since it's the same price as the 4" Paul G.

The waggy needs a little work but should be good otherwise.

The Yota probably won't sit much higher because I'm removing the 3 inch body lift and installing a 1 inch body lift. As well as the front bumper is coming off and the reciever will be removed from the frame. I custom winch plate is going to replace the multi mount setup that I have now. It's a pain moving that winch back and forth. Also I'm looking at upgrading Alternators too. Found a company on ebay that has 160amp altenators for toyota trucks for $160... Think it will be a good idea.
