Just for you Paul, Its an '85 pick-up with a blown up motor. Gonna take most of the stuff out of the 4-runner and put into truck. I will try and get some pictures up this afternoon after work.

Cheaper to swap parts than to covert 4-runner to solid axle.

Between Russ building Yota's and Brian building Ford's we will always have something to watch being built. But at lest Russ wheels his a couple of times before he tears it down and starts again. I just wish I had the time to keep all of our running. Getting the parts is no problem, getting the time to install them is. I have had the parts to fix Sandy's now for at least a month. What a slacker!

Just remember Jess, you said that you were a slacker. But I know you will get more done when the new garage gets built.

Yah, that's my story...I would get things fixed and on the road faster if I had that garage and the hydraulic lift. Someone tell Sandy that please!

Had a buddy 8 or 10 years ago had is replaced under warranty by toyota for the same problem. They flew one of the original engineers out from Japan to look at the block because none of the techs at the dealership had ever seen it. Toyota Japan determined that it had to be a fault in the casting of the block and replaced it for for free with almost 350K miles on it. Of course he was the original owner and beat the hell out of it... Paul G.

This was some sort of reman engine. Has serial number on the side of it, but no company name. It kind of looks like an LC Engineering motor they way it is painted. But I amnot sure how they number their rebuilds.
