More details. Did the fan quit? Did it just start blowing cold air or is it only blowing out a certain location now? You can start by checking the vacuum line on the intake manifold, iirc that vacuum line is needed to open and close the blend door and I've heard of them loosing connection there on the manifold. If that's good, I'd start looking at the linkage at the blend door, it might not be opening up and blocking the heat from the heater core.
Mike Day just went through his hvac system, he might be able to shed some more light on the subject.

CHeck your heater lines going into the heater core, they should be about the same temp( able to touch. But if you have one that is very hot and the other much cooler, then you might be looking at a stopped up heater core, this is unlikely due to the fact it just stopped, but a possibility. More common that you lost your vacuum feed off the intake though.

Another remote possibility is that you have some junk in the airbox and the fan is hung - but that would more than likely blow the fuse - or possibly the switch went out. You could also have a clogged inlet not allowing fresh air in through the cowl, etc. If the fan is blowing but you're not getting air from the vents, check the vacuum lines / check for vacuum leaks. Could be a line or the vacuum-operated damper(s). Ditto on the heater core as well. I would check the radiator when cold to see where the level is at. I've seen where an air pocket in the cooling system has wreaked all kinds of havoc on the heater, etc. If it's losing coolant, I'd look at your floorboards to see if they are wet - and everywhere else for coolant leaks. I doubt that the thermostat is stuck open, but anything is possible - and that would also affect your heater because until you lose airflow, your overall temp would be off. Hope you get 'er figured out soon .... been in the Winter without heat due to a bad heater core that I had to bypass until I got it fixed, it SUCKS.

If the fan just quit, you'll probably want to replace the switch and resistor. AndyW just did his and can probably point you in the right direction.

I agree the resistor might be what I would look at if you check your connections first. Pull the switch assembly out of the dash and check that. Any smells before it died?

Did you get this fixed? A co worker of mine had his TJ blower motor quit working Friday. When he went to replace it, it was a bad ground not the motor.

I thought the heater/blower/ac fan was like most windshield wipers - the switch is on the negative (ground) side of the circuit. I could be wrong on that. Easiest way to tell is if one of the wires coming out of the motor connects to a point on the body or frame, etc. Not sure where the resistor network is located, but you may want to check to see if you are getting power to it on all positions of the switch and that power is coming out of it for the motor. Then it should be a matter of tracing out and checking continuity from there to the motor and from the motor to ground. You may even want to disconnect the motor leads and check continuity from each wire to groundand from the motor case to ground. I believe the motor is supposed to be isolated electrically from ground.... if it's like most I've messed with.
