Hello everyone I'm new to the area and I just moved my '87 XJ down here.
I am wondering if anyone can point me towards a good/decent mechanic around the area that will help me with a few small problems that I can not complete due to my living situation (apartment).
I moved in near the Town center area on VA Beach Blvd.
Thanks!

If you're active duty military, most all the bases in Hampton Roads have a Hobby Shop you can work on your vehicle in. Not really up on good mechanics in the area, never had to use 'em while I was there. Maybe someone can offer up some advice.

Heck, many folks on the forum have their own 'shop space' at their houses and if you ask, they just might help you out. Forgot about mentioning that option before ;D Dave G

I need to do basic brakes and then a few bigger things Motor Mounts/ Transmission Mounts.
Also I have a weird looseness in the front end i'm trying to track down. I think it is the steering box. All the TRE/Track Bar/ Tie Rod is all new.
