Well after almost 78K miles the back brakes started squealing (wear indicators), any one have any experience with the EBC brake pads? write ups seem good, but few and far between. Roters are good but gotta do them soon, it is so embarasing. "SSSSSSSSSSSSQQQQQQHHHHHHHHHAAAAALLLLLLL" Any other product information for other companys is welcome, Thanks all.

I have always used EBC greens on my motorcycles and loved them, Now as far a Jeeps I can't tell you. You might have problems with cold stops. Food for Though. Uriah

They are great. I had em on an old 2500 cummins. Cold stops were not an issue. Well no worse then with any other pads that were on that truck and it towed a 34ft car trailer from MI to floriday once a month and they lasted a long time. Oh and they also held up to me driving the truck like a crazed lunatic all the time. boosted lanches with a 5 speed and all.

Did you run thier disks or the factory ones? That is my concern, I hear alot of folks suggest changing eferything as a set. I am going with OEM for now untill I do some more reasearch and save up some dough. Thanks for everybodys input.

If you want my input go with the Yellowstuff pads. The greens are ok and cheaper but the yellows work better hot and cold and are quiet. The yellows are slightly harder on rotors but its worth it to stop better. Brakes should should always be as best as you can get them within reason and parts life should be secondary. If the rotors are good and not warped just throw the new pads on there and bed them in correctly. Its a wives tale that you have to replace rotors with new pads. If they are good use them. Use some cheese cloth to scuff any glaze that might be on the rotor surface. Amazon has good prices on the yellows and so does the guy at www.performancepeddler.com last I checked.
