Trail Guide
A bad day fishing is still better than a good day working.

So are there any places to wheel that are any closer than 4 hrs away? I know Starr has their course (which I haven't made it out to yet...) but how often is it open?
Are there any other places that offer trails/camping?
Has anyone ever ridden down to and in Uhwarrie National Forest in NC?
I didn't get to go to the Gore trail ride this past weekend so now I'm trying to scratch my wheeling bug for the month...

Uwharrie is a good time, pray for rain. It has a nice group camp at Badin Lake. Make it a three day weekend. George Washington National Forest has some easy 'wheeling but great sight-seeing trails. Get Tommy or Keith to lead up there to see all the high elevation spots. It you had something olive drab there is an event Labor Day weekend.
