Dad was a member in the eighties and ninetys. Grew up up going on beach trips and mountain trips rawly springs. I have a new 2013 wrangler unlimited. I am moving my family to VB and am interested in beach running and wondering if the club still makes trips to the cape.

There are still trips to both places (and many others), although they cost a little more these days. ;D

He was a navy guy. Drove a red 81cj7. Was pretty active in the eightys. Retirered and in detroit now riding hogs instead of jeeps these days. Old man!

Russ was in the club when I started hanging around in 1982.
We were on many trips to GW together.
I also remember him getting a little air at the outerbanks one time and a kid in the passenger seat was nearly ejected, Russ reached out and grabbed him before he hit the sand.
I guess that might have been you?

Yes sir that was me. The only time he let me not whare a seatbelt.lol. I think I remeber derek. I remeber tommy and craig and dennis. That's about it. And george going way back.

I sort of remeber. I remember that trip for sure. Was probably the last time I was there. I went on a bunch of the trips to gw as well. I use to fall asleep and hang from the seatbelt riding down the trail. Do you guys still camp in the same place off the highway in rawley springs?
