I have been making some sort of trip between Christmas and New Years for the last several years now. I have been holding off on posting anything this year because there was a possibility I would be traveling for work right after Christmas. As it stands now, I won't be leaving until after New Years. So I am thinking about leaving on Friday the 28th, and returning home on the 30th or 31st. I am not 100% sure on where to go just yet and am open to suggestions from anyone who might be interested. I have heard a lot of good things about Pott's Mountain and it is on my short list. The plan, for me, is to camp somewhere in my TC. I will mention this again during the meeting tomorrow night.

So what's the story, Harold? Is there a trip coming together?

Unfortunately I found out today I have to attend an out of town meeting on Friday the 28th. I will be home for a few days and then leaving on the 2nd of January for a project at work that could last two months. So the short answer for me is no, I won't be able to go. . However, I know a few people did show interest at the meeting. I vote you take the ball and run with it and take lots of pictures and video for those of us that let work get in the way of our fun again.

Alright, I'm up for it. Anyone else want to make a trip somewhere? I'm for Pots Mountain although it'd probably be best to have someone that knows the area since I've never been there.
I'm also up for suggestions of any other places we could go.

I want to go back to Crozet sometime (I still have 2 free passes I won at the Annual that I have to use!)
But after the first time I went there, I swore I wouldn't go back until I had bigger tires and a lift. The lift got put on a few months ago. Tires are coming with my tax return. So, I will have to say pass on Crozet for now.
