What is all of the insurance stuff? I'm not sure how trail rides at Oak Ridge work as I've never been to one. Would there be camping? I could prolly get a good group of guys from KMA to go if that would be ok? What would be the cost per vehicle and what would said cost cover? Private club runs are available at Oak Ridge through Trail Experience. You can send me an e-mail at trailexperience@cox.net for more info. Some details are missing from this thread, mainly that ALL rides at Oak Ridge must be guided. Oak Ridge is a true multi-use property - all activities are coordinated so they don't interfere with each other. The cost per vehicle varies with how many days of wheeling, camping on site, trail guides, and other supporting facilities.

Lets call it a T4W members only clean up. That is usually $10 for the rental of the porta potty and we can clean an wheel for the weekend. Trail Experience sets up the work weekends, not T4W. Porta potties cost more than $10.

Can we get a guided tour of the train station and the main house? Will all the hippies be gone?

All that can be arranged. The "hippies" don't get there until Sept. 4th. Are you trying to win free tickets to the show?

" it's just camping and wheeling " THAT'S IT " " August 3-4 works for me, I'll touch base with the crew who doesn't frequent the web site. I love it when Keith rants...... "cheers to you buddy"

Aug 2-4 works for us also. I think what Jesse meant was, at a clean up the porta potties cost $10 per person, and that's all we pay. At least thats our understanding. I would like to inquire why we pay a camping fee and a land use fee. I thought it was all inclusive for $30 each rig as at the annual. And we have all been there enough, finding guides won't be a problem. With all that said - Keith - thanks for putting this out there for us. Looks like we all agree about getting in some more wheeling / socialization time. Incorporating this into a picnic would get my vote; to have the club buy some food, and pick up a few dollars per person. And I know Keith only gave a 20 vehicle estimate for costs, but if its a picnic, we must determine how big this will get. A new picnic idea may bring in the members:-) **Did anyone email Chris to see if this weekeend is open? LOL

Chris is checking on that end to see if we can be accomodated on August 3-4.
Sandy, at the annual I think we pay a flat rate camping fee and then a $30/vehicle land use fee. I'll let Chris explain that if he wants to here, but those things might cloud up our discussion. With a small group it would be more cost effective to pay a per vehicle camping fee over the larger flat rate.
Norm, if you want to go to the hippie show I will buy you a ticket. Please take lots of pics.

I think the picnic idea is a bad idea, who are you going to get to pull the cooker, then you will have to pay them gas money, what’s next door prizes? ;D

Your screen name is so fitting. Thanks for showing up to stir the pot, Mr. Noggin
I think you should pull the cooker out there and I'll pay you a big bowl of jack squat.

At the annual we pay $30 per vehicle for land use and $1000 for the use of the field for camping. Then the rental of the porta-potties is extra.
