In these parts, it can be challenging to walk the line between having a capable street legal rig for places that require traveling on a highway and having a rig for places like crozet, rausch creek, gore, etc. I rekon thats why there arent a ton of buggies around. There are when you get closer to rausch, harlan, Gore. Lots of guys have figured out how to register their buggies and make them sort of acceptable for trail rides where state/county roads are traveled.

Actually I was surprised how many buggys were at the Cove. There had to be 50 full up buggies. The rock bouncers were out in force, quite a few ftoys, and a couple of comp buggies. I guess I could register mine, all my vehicles are registered in Washington so no inspection. Would be a hell of a fix it ticket. I need bumpers, steering, windshield, rear view mirrors, turn signals, windshield wipers, etc.
Hopefully this weekend I'm going to pick up a 4runner so ill have a street able rig for outer banks, Arrington, and the likes and the truggy for Gore and Raucsh creek.

Yes that is a significant list. As an FYI there are no fix it tickets in Virginia...there's just tickets and a tow.
Normally I'd say having two play vehicles is a bad idea, but I believe your case is the exception. Good thing is that 4Runners are a pretty easy sell if you decide you don't want it anymore down the road.
So, who's signed up for this event now?

So how does this work? If you sign up multiple times and all 3,4,or 5 of your family members, does this take up all the spots? I checked today and only 13 spots left. I know some of you knuckleheads will flame me and say I should register now. But I can't commit this soon. Oh yea, I hate you guys.

The slots are per vehicle. If the Wheelers are bringing 3 vehicles, that's three slots. When will you know if you can make it? You could register, then ask for a refund if you can't make it. Or sell the registration on the 4x4 event black market. Why do you hate us so?

Norm, register now. Dont be a douche canoe. Typically they oversell anyway or you can resell your ticket to someone.
Chris, maybe you should open up the ATR registration and watch norms head explode.

We signed up early this year! Probably will sell out in the next day or two; only 10 spots left this AM.
