I'm keeping the truggy, but I'm finding it would be nice to have a street legal rig. Ideally I want a 1st or 2nd gen 4runner with a solid axle. I'm also considering a jeep or old bronco. Anyone have a project they want to ditch cheap?

It's on my radar too. I'm going to call and take a look at it after the holidays. Not a lot of good info in the post axles, lockers, tires. It does have a 1 ton in the front. There are a couple of good Toyota options and a couple of broncos also.
I'm always nervous about buying an engine that I can't hear run. So many unknowns. I would rather hear it knock and listen to its defects then start fighting with a mystery box that has been hacked on by god knows who.

I was just looking at the axles and tires. The rest of that is good for CL and the junk pile. Have to move one project on first.
