I thought this was a cool photo. Accidental naptime X2. This diesel Mercedes had it's exhaust routed through the hood. It drove around whooping ass on race day. It must have had a rear locker. We watched it take a very well modified jeep XJ to school on a hill climb. It was fantastic. More blatant self promotion. Tom drove around from the passenger seat for a while. Standing around the campfire recanting the weeks awesomeness.

A bunch of guys in the next camp over were launching mortars. Even AFTER the cops showed up. It was pretty funny to watch. They had no idea the cops were surrounding them. They just kept on shooting off fireworks. We counted 5 cop cars total. Our crew watching the cops deal with the guys that were "causing trouble". Someone buy this for me. I'll make it worth your while. Fire in Hammertown after the race. What happened here? The Beverly Hillbillies geared up and ready to leave. The rest of us ready to leave. On our way out, we saw this. Chad stopped by for a fitting.

Heading home. Watching vintage Reiter wheeling videos. Big dumb load being towed by an F150. Yay IN-N-OUT Burger!!!! Getting most of Johnson Valley out of my nose. Driving through the snow sucked. We "picked up" an extra set of tire chains... in a trailer tire. :bang: How to start your honda when you get home. The benefit of all the weather we received on the way home, is it cleaned our rigs pretty well.

Nice pictures! How long a drive for you from WA? Explain the trailer with the black plastic/canvas, please. And finally, that has to be the slowest, easiest rollover ever recorded.

Nice pictures! How long a drive for you from WA? Explain the trailer with the black plastic/canvas, please. And finally, that has to be the slowest, easiest rollover ever recorded. 26 hours down, 24 back. We have done the drive in 21 hours, but that was without incident. We lost 3 tires on the way home (2 trailer one truck) from all the tire chains on the road in Oregon. The trailer with the black canvas is Dr. Anthonys Johnson Valley windproof tent. He turned his flatbed trailer into that contraption. When you are in the desert you need walls around you. For the sand storms and such. The rollover happened. When chad put his hands on my wheel, I had it in reverse and I was about to side step the clutch and hammer the skinny pedal. I just let it roll because I didn't want to hurt my dumb friend.
