The beverly hillbillies finally showed up (Kurtis and Dr. Anthony) Tom and Chad rebuilding the toyota driveline he broke on Wrecking Ball. Sunday I woke up early and hiked to the top of Resolution because I was bored. Watching the sun get higher in the sky over Hammertown. Watching the King of the Motos race from my vantagepoint. Coming back down. It was a fun hike. Too bad all the fat guys back at camp didn't join me. :f2:

When I got back from my hike I found this drunken homeless guy replacing parts in my Jeep. I also found this other drunken homeless guy sleeping in the back of the other drunken homeless guys truck. Finally wheeling photos. I let Kurtis take my rig up Turkey Claw and SOS. "What do I do here?" Driving like a boss. Proper winching techniques in the desert.

Done running trails for the day. Pregaming for the Super Bowl!!! Watching the winners coming through the King of the Motos race. The view from Anthony's driver seat. Our crew ready for the Seahawks domination. A sure sign the Hawks would whoop ass. Where we watched the first half of the game. Brent Goegebuer (marketing director of 4WP and WA native) Invited us over to watch the first half of the game at his place. At the end of the first quarter I ran to grab some cold beers and snapped this photo. Fastest woman to complete King of the Motos this year. Heading to the Jumbotron to watch the second half of the game. Posted up in our front row seats. Is that a moustache or is my face just dirty?

Are we going to fix it or go watch the backdoor challenge? Anyone want to make a motion? Chad at the backdoor challenge. It was effing cold in Hammertown. I couldn't get a good photo of the jumbtron but we sat here. Randy Slawson won the backdoor challenge he was FAST. Another fellow in a red 4cyl TJ was also VERY fast on it. "Please take my photo Rudi." The next morning "Get the hell away from me Rudi."

Jason rocked the 12th man flag on his car. Jason broke and tried to full throttle assault the hill. This little girl had to have her father cover her ears it was so loud. Golden Tate got out of the car and stacked rocks for Jason. Mr. Tate stacking more rocks. Our boys from Tennessee. Bummer. The Moustache showed up in spirit, so we had some rum for him. Intoxicated Thomas doing custom hood work on my jeep. Anthony left to get a hot shower and visit family so we did a valet parking job. Tom says "Go on ahead without me, I'm going to sleep it off right here." Visiting the Bobby Long memorial on Sledge.

What actually happened on the very special night run to the mailboxes. Chad broke a trunion bearing (Upper ball joint for you jeep folks.) Getting Chads broken toyota home. This took a while. We decided to use Chads winch and my roll cage like a tow truck. Anthony winching us out of Sledgehammer. Almost out. Kurtis was having a laser battle with some guys with equally powerful lasers in hammertown it was cool. If you look you can see the green lights from the laser battle. Getting naughty bits out of Chads truck. Tom's "lickety split" towing service. This was fun. Especially taking this through about 15 friendly police officers. Well, if the cops actually care, they will start chasing us. (they didn't, for the record) The aftermath. Even my hi-lift was bent.
