VA4WDA float on the James trip

Tidewater,

This event is the weekend of the 17th of August and is put on annually by Capital City Fourwheelers. This year I would like to have a group from Tidewater attend this event. I have checked and we can rent canoes from MWR with a trailer. For six with a trailer it would be $140, split 12 ways this would be a very low cost event. I'm willing to tow them up there and reserving them if we can generate enough interest. So post up if you would be interested in attending. We can talk about it at the next meeting. I may be interested, is there more info and registration costs? I never have luck fishing but can float, will there be a shuttle back from take out to the put in? Or figure out rides, we have a 17' canoe....Ben
