Well yesterday I went to the new off road park called Red Cloud. It is located in Woodbridge VA. In one word Awesome. Despite its surprising proximity to DC it has some great trails. The park has 200 acres with 60 named trails. Difficulty from the bunny slopes for newbies to some obstacles to push you to the limit. The park is close enough to visit as a day trip and the price is very reasonable. The staff is friendly and for a little extra money they will cook you lunch. I ended up taking my toyota with the swappers and I was glad I did. For the first time in a long time I got stuck in the mud. Also while running a wash out ended up having to do a complicated recovery of my truck to prevent body damage. I do believe we got to name that trail which we name it seat cushion. Due to fact when you lift a tire about 10 feet in the air guess where that seat cushion is going! Anyways there is enough variety of trails made slot of fun. There are a few very nice hill climbs. Well that is my opinion on red cloud. I hope others will get a chance to go. I will post some pics as soon as I get them.

Sounds great, Jim! Who went with you, or was this a solo trip?

I went with Dino from RVA rock crawlers and Jackson (independent). I did have a rider. For those who have face book pictures and videos are linked to my page. Plus if you goto red clouds face book page they also pictures and videos. My schedule is a bit on the iffy side so I do not know about the meeting. Once again Red clouds was a blast. It is nice to have a place to wheel open up for a change not to mention being very easily accessible and catering to the customers. Since it is close enough for a day trip I feel it is a great option when you need that 4wd fix.
