Have a 1998 GC with 4.0.Will start up and runs fine then cuts off.Sometimes it restarts other times it won't.Did tune up and still cuts out. Thinking fuel pump/filter or maybe coil.Any info is appreciated. Trying to get it road ready. Thanks

When it cuts off check the fuel rail to see if you have good fuel pressure. There is a fitting that looks like a tire valve stem that you can push to check. Remember that you engine may be hot so make sure you don't spill that fuel and start a fire. If you have good fuel pressure then you need to look at the electrical side.

Think I found the problem. Logos like its my fuel pressure regulator. Loosing pressure after jeep is turned off for 15 minutes. Have to get part and a Sunday to drop tank.
