Well, the np435 is all in and working. That first gear is really sweet! A lot of work, but hopefully worth it. The only downside is that I'm missing that overdrive gear, but since it's not a DD, I'm good. Dave, here's a couple photos of where I had to notch the skid plate. Think you can work with that? No rush, I know you're busy. Would rather have axle tubes done first anyway. It looks like it's hanging down farther than it is due to the angle of the camera.

If I could convince Cheryl to drive it to work one day, you guys could take it to Craney Island. LOL, good luck there! She gave me the impression that last time she drove it she found it challenging to keep it between the ditches. ;D That's a clean looking swap. As well as that Jeep was working at the Annual, imagine how nice it'll be to walk through the rocks now.

TJ flares are done! They look good, but I miss the old rounded rear flares. Twins sticks are in! I like this style, and they're stainless too. Shifts much better now. It's tight with the NP 435, I need to cut that inside tab off, that will no longer be needed, and I can clock the t-case up some more.

If you haven't addressed the skid yet let me know. I might be able to get you in this week to hook it up...

Thanks guys, but I haven't been working nearly as hard as you all have. Wish I was closer to be able to help out. Dave, you know, I haven't really even given a second thought. You've been busy, and after looking at it, I'm not even sure if covering it would be beneficial, because if you look, a skid will only cover the back half of the case. The front is still going to be exposed. It might be a good idea to do something to strengthen the area I had to cut out maybe. You have a more creative mind when it comes to fabrication than I do, so whatever you think.

TBI fuel injection conversion is in and PRP seats are in. I believe I'm done for a while! Hopefully this will end my stalling on inclines. I'll be finding out soon. Got the wiring and computer from Affordable Fuel Injection. They are top notch, the program seems to work really nice. Hardest part about the whole install was having to drop the tank to install some FI rated hose, and fabbing up a bracket for the throttle cable. It's nice to be able to just turn the key and it starts, no pumping the gas, setting the choke, etc.

I'm out in Whaleyville, and I am on a long break this week if you need a hand.

They are comfortable, should help my back out. I got the wide 'fat boy' version so they're comfortable, but they are so so wide I couldn't get the YJ doors to shut, so I had to take off the inner door panels. No biggie though.

Not shabby at all. Mine has two bolts on the sides, but you should be ok. I won't even mention the swiss cheese angle.
