Nice man!!!! I had a great time during this process!! So does it feel a lot better with the 4.88s? Well w/ the gears not broken in, I haven't had the chance to get on it yet Fran you know it... But march seems too long to wait..

Drove around town today and no problems were noticed. Checked temps, no vibes, no leaks, and just a lil' problem shifting due to no longer having a T/C drop w/ a body lift. When I shift to 1st,3rd and 5th gears the shifter has very lil' room b4 it hit dash. Fix that today or sometime soon. Feels good, Dave. Thanx.

Hey Jay! I was just re-reading some old posts and I came across this one from 7-20-05 ;D Geez, now I know I'll have to get a ski mask and go to the bank so I can get my lockers and winch...... lol Don't want to be the one who keeps getting stuck But, there is still plenty of time. I think you are a-okay now buddy!!

True, and I didn't even break the bank (or stick it up) ;D Dave did a Great job. Re- checked everything to isolate noises and found track bar was loose= no more noises. Still riding good (over 300 miles), so soon it'll be time to drain and re-inspect. Then a trip to OBX maybe.

The track bar is probably going to need a new bushing, it was still moving a tiny bit after re-torque...

Jim bent my shifter handle back today , and now it shifts perfectly w/o hitting the dash... Thanks Jimbo. The Jeep feels better and better the more I drive it..
