Is the problem that the TJ is a daily driver? get a set of street tyres. The Trxus seem to do allright on the street if you keep them ballanced, cheaper than BFG How about the new KRAWLERS.....

Is the problem that the TJ is a daily driver? get a set of street tyres. No, it isn't that. You don't understand, these tires are out of control, they feel like someone strapped a groundhog to each one of them and it's going thump thump thump thump thump thump. I went 10 miles and they are not smoothing out. And it's not even cold outside yet. I was willing to give up some smoothness, but even the most obnoxiously built rig would be miserable on these. I learned my lesson, I'm done. I am very fortunate that the vendor I bought these from (Foothills Motorsports) fought hard to get the distributor to take these back. Of course I have to buy my new tires from him, but that's no problem. If not, I'd be in an expensive predicament now. I like Chris's idea of the BFGs.

Call Debbie and ask her how she likes her 35s. I believe she upgraded to the 17 inch too and has been wheeling on them several trips already. Fran

Keith, Sorry to hear about your tire situation, glad your vendor is customer service oriented and worked to get em sent back. I think the BFG's are a good choice, what about Mike's Maxxis Creepy's? I've always liked those. Were you looking for an exclusively American made tire? I've always like the Toyo Open Country Muds or the Nitto Mud grapplers too. On the BFG's are we talking about the "real" Krawlers or the KM'2?

Tony if I were to get rid of these tires before the cords show, I will be coming to live with you in WV. I had to promise 6 months of doing nothing to get by with this latest stunt. You can all start taking bets now.

Have you had the bikes up there yet? Is that just flat bar running side to side? Looks like that middle bike might bow the center a little. You could prolly stiffen it up with a piece of 1"x1" angle underneath. Craig (always gotta have suggestions)
