So I'm buying this thing: norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/1690673513.html2000 Cherokee 4.5 Rusty's lift sye tom woods drive line,33 12.50 bfg muds with 75% tread, lincoln locked 8.8 rear, eaton up front,4.56 gears, jks dis- connects aftermarket cd player with ipod hook up, welded flat quarter panel for high lift mount, thule rack bars no roof rack,Rusty's cross over steering heavy duty track bar, bushwaker fender flares, mickey Thompson classic rims.no muffler( was a cherry bomb and was going to get a different one just never got to it),no bumpers(easy junk yard find) used the ones we had for another jeep, rear latch needs greased, some small dents and scratches, just served 90,000 miles. AC works just needs to be recharged. Automatic. I did my best Craig impression, and talked him down to $2000. I hope I made a good decision. I need to find a diff for the rear ford 8.8 (open, limited slip, selectable, ...) to replace the lincoln locked diff, front and rear bumpers, skid plates, rocker guards, and a radiator. Does anyone have Cherokee parts I could find a good use for? Adam

If you need help with things just give the boss a call. If Ryan doesn't have anything going on he can help out.

I've got the gears from an open carrier for the 8.8 that I put into my XJ, the 8.8 is out of a 98 explorer. I also have a stock rear bumper and brackets that I was getting ready to toss out, you're welcome to both if you want them.

Cool, will help you get it loaded up tomorrow. So do you need a 28 spline or 31 spline carrier? I have a 28 spline open 8.8 carrier.

OK, Dave Phillips was good enough to give me a matching front and rear bumper (thanks) and it turns out I've got the front sway bar too (sweet). Billy was good enough to give me a flow master (again thanks a bunch) but I'll need to figure out how to patch together an exhaust to get me from the cat back - does any one have a stock cat back laying around?

Hey go to the link below order your radiator and get the express shipping. You will only be able to get the 1 core but, it will be 1 huge core. I couldn't get my jeep over 155 today on the drive down. It just wont heat up with this thing in there. Make sure you look it over really good when you get it. Mine had been dropped pretty hard and had some out of round inlets and outlets. So when i called they gave me the shipping for free. Oh and with the express shipping it was supposed to be 3 days but, it showed up in 2. Oh measure yours before you order. It lists 2 of them. 1 is just a tad taller than the other. www.genesisautoparts.com/all_aluminum_radiator-jeep-cherokee-2000-4dot0l_l6_242.htm#ALL30417X23116

Dude, I could have sworn I saw this sitting on the side of the road for sale, opposite side of Williams Auto Mart (defunct) just before the JRB a day or so ago...

OK I've got the rock rails covered (thanks to Machmer and Mike Adaire) and it looks like I'll be getting a gas tank skid as well ...
From what I've been able to gather I've got the early explorer rear axle, so it should be 31 spline (it matched the explorer width).
Dave / ONZROCKS, do you have the open diff for a 31 spline? If so I'd be happy to give it a good home.

Hey Adam, you're in luck, they are 31 spline. All I have though are the gears, not the carrier itself, but if your carrier is salvageable, you're welcome to them!

Alright. you have some work to do this weekend. I will be sending the bumpers, skid plate and t-case your way Thursday morning. So you need to get a working party together and get that thing together. You will have to paint the bumpers and stuff but, i figured it would be better to have them down there than to try and do it in the field at gore. ;D Oh Hammered Gray Rustoleum for the rockers and bumpers. You can throw bed liner on the skid.
