Chad, Tom, Terry and I got to the lakebed friday morning. Hammertown was set up but not many folks were there yet. We got camp set up got the rigs ready and headed out to run up Jack to the top, down to the mailboxes and then down Sledge. Arrival on the lakebed at our normal camping spot. Just far enough from Hammertown to be quiet, but close enough to the action to be available to folks. Hammer Heights is behind me over the hill from this photo. This is from the top of the hill. You can see Hammertown in the background. The last photo I have of my unmangled doors. Chad at the entrance to Jackhammer. This hat makes Terry look extra sexy.

Me at the entrance to Jack. This is the line I wanted last year and was afraid to beat my D30 like a read headed stepchild. This year I spanked it with the new D60 Hammertown in the distance. The view from my drivers seat friday morning.

At the top of Jackhammer. Another View from my drivers seat on Friday morning. The obligatory mailbox poser shot. After running down Sledge we ran back to camp for some lunch and beers. This was how we found the beers. After lunch we headed out to Outer limits. One of my favorite drives at the Hammers is just the trip itself to the bottom of outer limits. It's way out there and just fun to blast across the desert at top speed.

Hammertown Sunday morning. Not having 4wd I decided to head out towards soggy lake to find trapdoor. The view from my drivers seat towards Turkey Claw (Bobby Longs Trail) Which we ran later in the week but I don't have photos of due to camera battery issues. Being lazy on Sunday morning. Terry went to church in Hammertown so we decided to play Horseshoes. An imposter of the Sublime YJ or is the Moustache copying someone else? After Terry got back from Church, 50 degree shirts off guy appeared. Chad heading into Trapdoor. Chad heading out of Trapdoor.

Saw this guy at the bottom of Chocolate thunder when we were playing there. View from my passenger seat on the way back to camp Sunday evening. Chad broke a shaft on a crazy line in Chocolate Thunder. Thankfully some folks from Team Degenerate (the 2013 King Of The Trimmers Winner). Were happy to lend a spare shaft. Chad's naughty bits. Chad fishing naughty bits out of the housing. All fixed. My stub shaft after Outer Limits. Thankfully we were able to Phone the Moustache prior to him leaving. He brought us our much needed spares along with the condiments that we forgot back at the house. Thanks John!!!!11!!!11!! Stupid Dana 60's. Carnage. Valet parking job after everyone got fixed. Chads broken shaft on the left mine on the right. Weird.

Watching the Superbowl from the lakebed on Sunday night. Front row seats. The view from my drivers seat sunday night. The crowd watching the game. What's all this bacon? Call the fire Dept. If it weren't for John and the delivery of condiments, this never would have happened. Fat guys gotta eat. Awesome dinner after the super bowl. I don't know why, but Terry parked my Jeep on this camp chair???

Panorama from the lake bed monday morning. Monday we went scouting for a good place to watch the race. We ended up running the canyon next to wrecking ball. It had a great set of obstacles and some "rimrock-esque" sidehilling to it. But it was a lot of fun as we were able to blase a trail nobody had tried before. Or if someone had, there were no tracks on it. I took this photo looking down at where we started. We just drove over the hills to where we were. It was awesome. Once we got on top, Chad called work like a poosay. Here is a photo of Chad, on vacation, working. From where we were, Chad and I dropped down into Wrecking ball about halfway through the trail. It was "fun" to say the least. Can you say toboggan run? Anywho here is a photo of the bottom of the waterfall. Chad on the right line at the waterfall. Tom spotted both me and him through there. No winching and we both crawled it. Chad done with the line. Chad happy to be alive. Tom named this obstacle "Karl's girl thingy" so I of course had to do it. The exit to my girl thingy. Chad.......

Getting it fully. Fully getting it. ZING!!!!!! JR stopped by to chat. Some last photos of his rig before he drags it out to the guy that bought it. Terry in his chill spot. Epic moustache guys FTMFW!!!!

After watching LCQ and eating sausage all day, we decided to do a night run up Sledgehammer. Flopathon on the "it wants it" line. Flopathon getting it fully. The plaque rock. Chad getting it fully. Door loves rock, or rock loves door? You decide. Maybe if Chad had rubbed some mustard on this, he could have squeaked through with no damage. Chad on the exit to Sledge.
