Not even close to being done Dave! Are they ever? True, most of the time it's a work in progress between breakages... at least after you get it 'done' the first time, right? At least it's a lot closer than it was... shooting for a late Winter run or is it going to be Spring before it sees any action? Dave G

Dave glad to see the EB nearly ready to wreak havoc on the trails! Let me know when or if you go up to Harolds...I'd like to swing up there myself and do a shakeout. Also want to try and hit at least one day of that Jan Crozet weekend, I got an itch for some rocks!!!!

Dave,
I think you need to change your Avatar to the picture of you and Alex in the Bronco, since you don't own the XJ anymore.

Finally figured out where I wanted to mount hydraulic assist ram. Welds have a tight pass followed by a second pass. I suppose thickness (lack of) of cover will determine lifespan of tabs - The cover is 1/8", hopefully it will last until I can get a decent 1/4" wall or better cover. Dave

Bronco's a driver now. Runs great. I'm working on rock sliders right now, then exhaust and front driveshaft so I can go play somewhere near and break in axle gears and stuff...

More progress- Sliders are almost done- I'm using Summit 12" glasspacks because they're compact. Hopefully they'll sound good, too. Aaron at NAPA hooked me up with 10' of 21/4" exhaust pipe on the cheap as well- Dave

Thanks! Are you local? A couple EB peeps around here are kicking around the idea of a bronco meet-up.
Dave
Bronco now has 4wd. shortened the front driveshaft today, need to add gear oil to the front and go have fun somewhere.... ;D
