Yes, Great Bridge, 17 yrs. I like the idea of a meet and greet. It would be nice to see a few EBs lined up.
I recently placed my EB back on the road after a 2 year 408/zf/205 buildup (long duration, on a budget) I'm still working out the bugs.
It looks like you guys are into some hard core 4 wheeling. Honestly, for the last 17 years, I've been just running to DQ and advanced auto, and soccer!. I might be persuaded to do more. My oldest just turned 14. I"m hoping he'll get into it, and give me reason to return. Have been suggesting Cherokees to him.

Don't feel bad, I've had mine since '94. Anyway, I plan on taking my EB and the family to Handel's, Genro's, Hatteras etc as well as wheel it in the mountains. Prolly hit Muddy Motorsports as well. Come to think of it, there's Harold's Hiway, Starr Motors and I'm working on info on a place out in Pungo via Ted (and Billy) from Ted's Automotive. I'd love to see your ride! I'm going to be inspecting mine soon so I can hit the roads.... Dave core4wd@cox.net

Summit glasspacks were too noisy, just a notch under the open headers, with way too much crackle sound for the street and trail. Mud bogging would have been fine. I popped on a set of Thrush glasspacks (the long ones like Cherry Bombs) and now it purrs like a kitten at idle and roars like a, uh, lion when the gas is romped on. I'm calling it good.

Got a bunch done- Front bumper (which has been done but needed painting), Alex is going to help put non-skid on the top of it tomorrow- I really like the sound of these Thrush glasspacks, they look cooler than the silver ones I had on, too IMO- On to the body phase, got the top layer previous owner installed passenger side floor pan out, now to get the original remnants out THANKS BILLY FOR HELPING GUT THE INTERIOR THE OTHER DAY, WE GOT-ER DUN! HAVING FLASHBACKS YET??- Re-fabbed fuel tank inlet with exhaust tubing and hose and routed tighter to body-

Passenger side pan is mocked up and will be getting welded in... Done- Driver side coming along thanks to Billy. While I was welding up passenger side, he ripped out the driver side- I suppose one year down the road it will have to come all apart and get alot of new body panels replaced. At least everything frome the frame down is new...

Pics of cage progress- Extreme Fabrication family cage 2" dia. 1/8" wall d.o.m. main cage, 1.5" seat front seat. Rear seat mounts will most likely be "c" channel. Tonight I cut and notched the dash bar and fitted the lower "B" and "C" pillar bars which the rear seat mounts, frame tie-in's and extra bracing will tie into. Need to get some pics of that stuff, my battery died-

Looks great. Did you purchase the COR frame tie-in kit or will you be fabricating tie-ins from scratch? You are welcome to look at mine. I recommend adding grab handles to the cage as well while you have it out.

These arrived yesterday- I have to re-do the front seat mounting bars. I should have just deleted the crossbars upon ordering and done them myself Everyone's Bronco's are different and I don't like how they sit (too high). I had the kids sit in the rear seat. They said they are fine back there but I think I should have ordered the 42" vice 36" or just refurbished the stocker, which is wide. Either way the price is the same whether refurbishing or not so it's money spent anyway. The seats are nice though. After considerable consult time with Chris Packard (thanx Chris Crozet rox!), this is what I am going to do with cage to make it complete- This will get repeated for the "c" pillar for rear seat safety. Horizontal bar will get tabbed for shoulder harness mounting- Made the seat belt mount tabs and tacked them in, as well as the inner tab mounting bars (1" dom)- After cutting out the original cage seat mounts and putting in mine, with the back dropped 2", the seats sit great now. Need to put in the sub belt mount bar and burn everything in.

Hi Brian! Prolly wheel it in May, Starr Motors may be the shake-down cuz I go out of town in Apr. It has to be together whether painted or not for the Classic Bronco Meet 4 Apr. Have you got a time frame for wheelin' your's? Got some more done, "b" bracing and harness bars are installed, rear seat frame mount tubing cut out and fitted- Billy and I figured out that Christmas paper inner cardboard tubing rolls make great template tools! Cut cardboard tubing to form template then slit down middle and tape onto 1.75" tubing and trace out. Then take 4 1/2" grinder with used grinding disc and rough it out just inside of the line. Since the disc is a used one, it helps bevel the edges as you go. For the straight joints I just used the drill press and 2" hole saw.- Pretty fun but I know why cage builders get the prices they do...

I am hoping to take it for a spin around the block this weekend. I will still be lacking seats, drivshaft and shocks and windshield but I want the truck to be just about done before I get the glass installed and I don't want to order my shocks till I get the rear set properly.
