Well I changed the spark plugs out (thanks Dave (core) good suggestion) and cleaned the Carb up a bit. Not much change but then the gas in the tank has probably been there for a year at least. So some fuel conditioner (thanks Harold) will be bought tomorrow and the "tinkering" will continue.

So what did the plugs look like? You did keep them in order so you know which cylinder to check if a plug indicates a problem, right? ;D

plugs all looked good, i agree with harold, its probably a bad gas thing, i cleaned the carb and changed the plugs and noticed a SLIGHT change but nothing to write home about. oh and dave... i found out what those disk things were, i went and bought the haynes manual and its the vacumn something or other... dont have it right in front of me.

Adam -- got your cell, I'll give you a call for directions sometime this afternoon when I have some clue what time I'll be able to get out of work, so we can get a look at that carb.
