Thanks guys.. yeah, I scuffed up the wheels pretty good... and the diff covers.. and the skid plate... and the front driveshaft.. oh, and I put a two foot scrape down the passenger side paint.. ;D I'm gonna beef up the cage a bit and lower my seat (and move it back 2 inches)... then it's on! I don't care about no sticking 'glass body.. I think I'll get some red paint and airbrush blood oozing out of any body damage.. ;D

did you get to feel the anti-squat doing it's thing? curious how it reacts when the rear end is in a bind and you have to give it some gas to get out. 120 seems kinda high, BUT, i am pretty ignorant, just know what i've read from other ignorant people who have never built a 4 link

It worked really well.. the only time it reacted negatively was on some of the difficult climbs. Under hard throttle it hopped a little.. not bad though. I didn't have the shocks recharged with Nitrogen after I put my tender coils on but I think stiffining the shocks a bit with gas will help the problem.. it wasn't that bad though. Other than that, it worked really well and was a big relief. Made all those grueling hours alone welding, grinding and bleeding worth it.

I wanted to go but time's a-wastin' and I got too much stuff going on. How was it? Good facility or just a field with a pit in it?

It was fun. The field sloped down to where the pit was. Everyone had a good view of the pit (probably 200 feet long). There were about 4-5 vendor stands selling food/beverages. Could've used more Port-a-Potties (had 2). I would guess there were around 1500-2000 people that showed up and probably about 30 vehicles that actually ran. A few of the regulars ran in almost all classes. I think they should've been more strict with the Street Classes. They had guys running rigs with big blocks, straight exhaust stacks poking out their hoods and coilover suspensions in the street class. The rigs would change tires between every class. That kinda made it unfair for the "real" street guys/gals that drove their rigs to the event and competed. The same guys won all the street classes and hogged up all of trophies. Probably kind of discouraging for someone who drove in off the street thinking they might have a chance at winning a trophy. I was really surprised that I even placed. I had to run the 44" Modified Class because of my 42" TSLs.. there was no 44" Street Class. I figured I was gonna get dogged but a couple of the "Real Boggers" had engine/drivetrain breakage in the 40" Class so they couldn't return for the 44 Modified. My Jeep definately had the mildest engine in the class but all 4 of my Swampers kept turning the entire time so I kept creeping forward. I couldn't even get the RPMs above 4500 in the thick mud.
