Well, I guess I took off the wrong day.. Don't remind me, about the front. But it should be easier since we practiced on the rear. ;D ;D

Ok, I got a window of opportunity and here's the results- Dana 30 getting ready to get stripped down- I don't recognise child labor laws- Carnage- Pulling unit bearing assembly- Might as well separate it from the shaft now- Axle end gutted out- Hmmm what's wrong with THIS picture- After this pic, housing is now gutted and pressure washed and ready for build up. Happy New Year!

Yes u did! I've been thinking about doing that super30 thing. Since I don't want to use ARB, does anyone know if there's another differential for the d30 that's 30 spline? I'm debating on whether to blow mine up like Jay did, then fix it, or attempt to fix it first with some 30 spline axles and a diff. So where are you guys at on the build now?

Back to work for me and I think Dave has to work this week also.. Still have to measure for new driveshaft(Tom Woods'), put in super 30 kit for d30, buy the air compressor for the ARB, and put it back together...

Looks good, guys!
I had forgotten the breather bolt on the 8.8 also bolts on the brake block. I haven't actually had my breather out, so no reason to remember ...

Actually Chuck you were right in thinking there's no breather (banjo) bolt! I went to dealer today and none of their parts break downs had one! The hole that was tapped into housing is wrong size for D35 (bigger-imagine that!) so looks like I'll fab one. And I'll be making the D30 pinion set up bearing tonight and sticking in the set up races in housing as soon as Alex goes to sleep. Like right now! Jimbo be ready to rock tomorrow...
