Axle is done, ready to go back in- Had to go back and re-braze air line to seal housing-nice job Jim! That did the trick, air check good. Alex getting his fix on! Making new frame insert for t-case skidplate, probably not quite as strong as factory insert which "sandwiches" the frame so I'll have to check it again after a couple trail rides- Ok, Jay r u ready to install? Axle needs installed and t-case skid need installed to measure for rear driveshaft length. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice! ;D

When the SYE comes in make sure you come over to check that out! It's pretty fun to do, compared to pulling a carrier (like an 8.8!) a few hundred times! Got a bunch done today- Can you tell Jay's excited? Lining up lower mount- Thanks for dropping by Billy- Track bar mount- Torquing everything- Almost a complete jeep again! Going to lose the t-case drop with SYE install as well-

Well, I still don't have driveshafts in to turn those nice NEW axles. If the trip was next week, maybe I would've made it. But knowing how long it took for e'erything to arrive, I dread to see how long it takes the driveshaft and sye to come...

Tom Woods has stuff(sye & driveshaft). After that eliminates t/c drop so I Need stock skid plates bolts, as mine will now be too long Anyone have any they don't need anymore? I think a belly up will be in my future(core4wd design)..

Your bolts are specific to the skid you've got on there. At least all the ones I've had down have had regular bolt heads as in countersink heads so the stockers, which are regular bolts, won't work unless I make up some adapters. (I would just cut threads all the way up bolt but I don't have a die the right size.) Bolt also has to have no shoulder, needs to be all thread. Can someone with (preferably) 2000 TJ check for style of bolt head on their stock t-case skid plate? The ones that go to frame rail. Thanks in advance...
