Then your post should have read as follows: "So what's the story with "Big Limes" Carcass... Is it still spoken for.... " I knew somehow I'd get that kind of response from my previous post, though. It -never- fails ;D

I'll solve this Big Lime went away today! I was just over Eddie's house and it's gone. Now looking at Big Lime II. Eddie is doing everything he has ever dreamed of and even has had me scratching my head on a couple of times with his ideas, but so far everything has come out as professional as it comes! Nobody has squat on this build, I think he could have a job in Charlottesville building racecar chassis for Gordon or in Cali building whatever from motorcycles to desert runners. This Lime is the "Lime Juice" squished, squeezed and no B.S Scott

Scott was scratching his head when I showed him how to buckle the seat belts.. ;D ;D ;D
.. and yep, Big Lime is gone.. if anybody wants it, you have to deal with Ping Pong (Pat). We loaded it on his trailer this morning and he hauled it away. I was sad for about .01 seconds. I don't get too attached to my vehicles. For me, the thrill is as much in building it as anything else. Once it's done, it almost loses appeal. We'll see how the buggy fares.. ;D

Whew it's been kinda hot! Anyhow, I got the rear suspension pretty much done. Just gotta finish the upper shock mounts and add some gussets. The upper links are shorter than the lower links and have about 6" of adjustability up and down at the frame side. The upper frame mounts were kind of a PITA to get done but I'm happy with the way they worked out. I'll get the shocks done tomorrow and then start the front suspension. I already bent the front truss.. made it out of 1.75"x.188" DOM. Anyhow.. here are the upper link mounts... they attach to the seat bar and an upper crossmember... Some adjustability for the antisquat..

Been working on the front suspension. Kinda tedious making link brackets and plasma cutting off old bracketry. Only have the front upper frame mounts and the front 4 link will be done. Here's the pics of the rear upper shock mount. Still have to triangulate the mounting area with tube.. Hand cut shock mounts.. Front axle truss with upper link mounts tacked in place. Truss tube is 1.75"x.188" DOM.. Upper link mount with bracing.. looks like a bat.. Filled in the truss with 3/16" plate.. I'll come back and brace it against fore/aft movement.. Front lower link frame mount...
